    This is gross old cold food that had a fly flying on it. They never cover up the food. 10 years ago the food was great. Every time I hop off the plane I would stop here. Do yourself a favor. Keep going and don't eat here. Call the health department and see if they even are eligible to have a food license in NOLA

    At one point was my favorite spot for gumbo but recently had a terrible experience.The gumbo tasted like they put nutmeg and cinnamon inside it. The shit was horrible, it was like a gumbo dessert.  I'm a chef so I know every now and then shit happens but I Tried to get a refund and the manager or owner whoever she was says "sorry but we don't have a refund for you"

     

    I Also always hated the way the way they talk to there customers there.  As if the people who are paying there hard earned money just don't matter to them at all. This place is trash y'all ever again!

    Grilled cheese and Gumbo!!!! Need I say more? Try calling ahead to order especially if it's near closing time!

    The best seafood gumbo in the city. Hands down. You must go there and try it. It's usually served with the rice, so if you don't like much rice in your gumbo, ask them to put the rice on the side.
